CJSC «Crimea TITAN» has been implementing an investment development programme for years between 2006 to 2010 based on the «bottle neck» areas in the technology analysis, which will allow the titanium dioxide production output to be increased from 80,000 tones/year (company’s estimated output to date) to 120,000 tons/per year.  Main stages of the engineering process will be subjected to reconstruction: vacuum-crystallization, «black», «white» and «final» filtration, drying, micronization and end product packaging in TITAN №1 and TITAN №2 production workshops.  The construction and building of the sulphuric acid production workshop with production output of 600 thousand tons/year has been planned.  Basic engineering specifications project has already been developed by a group of German Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH and Hugo Petersen GmbH companies.  This production workshop will be one of the most modern sulphuric acid production operations not only in Europe but in other countries as well.  The total planned costs of the project, equipment and «turnkey» construction and mounting works amount to 55 million Euros.

The total volume of investments targeted for 2006-2010 is US$ 204, 8 mln.
Out of this amount, US$ 19,7 mln will be invested in the solutions to environmental care and to industrial safety. .
